The biggest game is going to be at the Staples Center and Steve wanted to go see it really badly. It was the Los Angeles Lakers versus the Detroit Pistons. The only way to be able to attend is to win the tickets at the local museum. Steve never really liked the museum and considered it boring but he knew he had to go in order to win Los Angeles Lakers  tickets. One Saturday morning he asked his mom if she wanted to go to the museum with him and look at some famous paintings. His mother was in shock because she knew Steve hated the museum. Steve told her it would be a good learning experience for him and he wanted to know a little bit more about art and paintings. His mother agreed and took him.  When they entered the museum there were signs everywhere telling people to enter the drawing to win tickets for the Los Angeles Lakers. People had to enter the drawing right when they entered. The winner would be announced at five that afternoon. Steve and his mom entered the drawing and walked around the museum. Steve had to pretend like he liked the paintings that were on display in order to fool his mom. After about 2 hours of walking around there was an announcement on the intercom telling everyone to come to the front lobby because the drawing was about to start. They started to call out the winner, but neither Steve nor has moms name had been called. After it was over they did not win Steve was sad and his mom decided it was time to go home.
