MOM AND POP STORE

I was diagnosed with type two diabetes last summer and I found that many of the necessary supplies that I needed to keep it under control weren’t covered by my insurance.  I had just been picking them up at the drugstore.  The Microfill test strips that I use with my glucose meter were costing me about a hundred dollars per box plus tax, so you can imagine my surprise when I found them at a very reputable online retailer for only fifty two dollars a box, with no tax and free shipping to my house.  I thought for sure that the strips from the online store must be some cheap knock off, but when they arrived at my door just two days after I placed my order I could see that they were the very same ones that I had been paying much more for from my drugstore.  What I want to know is how I can get something brought directly to me for half of what it cost for me to drive to the store and get it.  I feel like I’ve been getting ripped off for the last year, it’s not like I was buying them from a mom and pop store, the drugstore I go to is a national chain.  I feel like writing a letter of complaint to their corporate office, not to necessarily get anything from them but to let them know that they just lost a customer.
