When we went inside the restaurant  there was nobody to be seen.  We stood in front for a few minutes then finally seated ourselves.  I'm just thinking my lucky stars that the restaurant gave me such a bad feeling that I tuned negative on the whole idea.  Had I not just suddenly soured on the entire business and meeting these business partners I might be in Chapter 7 just like Steve. We were the only ones in the place, so there was no mistaking that we missed Steve's partners.  He was sure they were coming.  He had talked with them that morning.  I should have asked this before, but I really didn't think of it.  I wondered if he had ever met them in person before.  He shook his head. I kept my mouth shut.  I was really convinced that I wouldn't invest now.  In fact, if his partners didn't show up soon I was leaving.   A waitress finally walked over and asked us if we wanted to hear the specials.  I didn't, but Steve did.  Then we had to say we were waiting for two more people.  She would come back.  I did order a cup of coffee, the only thing I had.  After about forty minutes his partners finally showed.
