ART CURATOR
Tara and I were working in the store one morning when John and Sarah Gates came in. They were moving. We were shocked. They had just moved in not a year ago. Both seemed sad. John wanted to know our opinion on Rubbermaid Organizers. I said that I really liked them, and that we were thinking of carrying them in the store. They asked because they were already thinking ahead to their new house. We wondered where they were going. They were moving to Seattle. I asked why. John, it seems, got a job as an art curator for a private collection for some billionaire there. He was kind of sly about it, and I got the impression he really didn't want to get into it. We couldn't press it, as they were friends, but new friends. John did have a question about his wife's computer. Sarah was off talking to Tara, so I tried to troubleshoot the computer problem, by asking questions. Finally, I told John to try a few things. Later in the week, John was back in the store. He and Sarah were leaving sooner than he thought. I asked if their computer was working right . He said it was, thanks to me. I was curious about John's cousin, who was heavily into computers. I was about to ask him about this, when a bunch of customers came in.
